The best time is between September 1st and April 15th, when nights are longest and darkest. Auroras may appear from mid-August to mid-April, but peak viewing is during the darkest winter months.

We use solar activity data, weather maps, and aurora forecasts to maximize your chances of seeing the Northern Lights. However, the aurora is a natural phenomenon influenced by many factors: the strength of solar storms, cloud coverage, and the brightness of the moon. Because of this unpredictability, no company can guarantee a full aurora display. What we can guarantee is that we will take you to the best possible locations under the best possible conditions.

Based on NASA’s solar flare data, forecasts for 2–3 days ahead can be made with about 40–50% accuracy. The most reliable forecasts occur when solar storms reach NASA’s satellites in space, allowing us to predict aurora visibility within about 1 hour.

If skies are fully clouded or conditions unfavorable, we may reschedule your tour. If not possible, we offer a full refund.

We keep groups small and personal, with a maximum of 8 guests per tour.

We use Mercedes Sprinter vans adapted for Arctic conditions. They are spacious and comfortable, especially for taller travelers.
